 vice\, join us to hear from Rotary Club Member\, Carlton Christensen as he
  shares about My Hometown Salt Lake City. An initiative that combines the 
 strengths of individuals\, faith-based organizations\, and community partn
 ers to help individuals and families in this community improve their resid
 ential living conditions\, maintain access to available services and commu
 nity information\, connect productively with other neighbors\, and serve t
 ogether. The organization does this by bringing volunteers and neighbors t
 ogether in periodic Days of Service to serve the community by repairing h
 omes\, community gathering locations\, and places of worship (including ya
 rds) for those who need help\, identifying and empowering individuals and
  organizations that desire to support and improve their neighborhoods by t
 raining Neighbor Reps in supporting neighborhood and community activities
 \, and supporting and arranging for classes and services that meet communi
 ty needs and wants through Community Resource Centers and partnerships wit
 h existing organizations that also serve this community.
