DESCRIPTION:In 2002 the Rotary Club of Salt Lake City\, supported efforts t
 o develop and playground for all abilities at Liberty Park. There is a new
  effort underway to refresh the Rotary Liberty Park Playground as elements
  of the park have reached end of use and new adaptive playground elements 
 are introduced.  Join us as we hear from Jon Ruedas\, the senior landscap
 e architect assigned to the project\, about the new plans and the continua
 tion of Rotary Club of Utah's continued involvement. Jon is a licensed lan
 dscape architect with over 17 years of experience across the western Unite
 d States\, including Utah\, Colorado\, Nevada\, Idaho\, Washington\, and O
 regon. His diverse background spans both the private and public sectors\, 
 having worked in consulting as well as for local government agencies such 
 as Salt Lake County and Salt Lake City. Jon brings a comprehensive underst
 anding of the full project lifecycle—from funding and planning to projec
 t management and implementation. His expertise includes concept developmen
 t\, site master planning\, detailed site and irrigation design\, construct
 ion documentation\, and high-quality presentation graphics. Specializing i
 n recreation and park design\, Jon has led projects involving trails\, pla
 ygrounds\, and community and regional parks. His portfolio includes a wide
  range of recreational amenities\, such as splash pads\, destination playg
 rounds\, sports fields\, plazas\, pavilions\, public gathering spaces\, bi
