The Salt Lake Rotary Club brought back a long-standing tradition at Franklin Elementary on Thursday, April 16, 2026. This Career Day program, a pre-COVID service project, saw club members present to fifth and sixth graders. The event was well attended, with over 100 students participating in five separate sessions.
The event featured engaging presentations and a dynamic Q&A session, fostering a lively interaction with the students. The goal was to introduce students to diverse career paths and underscore the value of fundamental skills like reading, writing, and mathematics.
Due to the excellent response from both the students and faculty, there has been a request to repeat the career day next school year.
Many thanks to our presenters.
