Dear Friends and Rotarians,

As I reflect on our recent meeting, I find myself filled with mixed emotions. My heart swelled with pride as Adam Rees from Sustainable Cambodia shared the profound impact our collective efforts are making in transforming lives across the globe. It is moments like these that remind us of the true power of Rotary and our commitment to service.
Yet, as I looked out at our gathering, a sense of urgency washed over me. While our club is vibrant and engaged, I couldn’t ignore the reality of our demographics, which raises concerns about the future of our beloved Club 24.
According to ClubRunner, our average member is 65 years old, and the breakdown is telling:

I am confident that every one of us wants our club to thrive for generations to come. Yet, I’ve observed a hesitation to make the bold decisions necessary to secure that future. Our community and our world need Club 24 now more than ever. Together, we can ensure that our legacy of Service Above Self endures.
To achieve this, I commit to championing a proactive plan that addresses our needs:
  • Elevate the Executive Director to an Executive Role & Duties
  • Define Who We Are: Business & Community Leaders w/ the Time & Means to Serve
  • Schedule the Most Attractive Programs & Service Opportunities
  • Watch Membership & Service Flourish
I recognize that our plans must be flexible and open to innovation. Your insights and ideas are invaluable as we navigate this journey together. I invite you to share your thoughts, your passion, and your vision for the future of our club.
Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder as we take the necessary steps to ensure Club 24 not only survives but thrives for years to come. Together, we can build a brighter future for our club and our community.
In Service and Friendship.
