My travels with Bahar through Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, have been a humbling reminder of the challenges many face daily. Witnessing these struggles deepened my gratitude for the abundance we enjoy in the United States and the dedication of Club 24 members working on international projects to uplift communities worldwide. On Friday, October 17, 2025, Club 24 will host the Distinguished Rotarian Awards Dinner and Celebration at the Sheraton Hotel Ballroom in Salt Lake City. The event will begin at 6:00 PM.
We will honor two extraordinary members of our Club – Gene Banks and Mike Deputy – who have, for decades, exemplified Rotary’s core values of leadership and service.
This special evening will include video tributes highlighting their inspiring journeys and remarkable achievements.
I am honored to be the emcee of the event, having the privilege of knowing both of these distinguished Rotarians personally.

Our bylaws require that members have the opportunity to have 2 weeks to review and comment on any documents or changes made that impact the business of the club.
Each email will have a voting poll attached so that if you cannot attend the July 15th Leadership Transition Meeting you still have the opportunity to comment and vote.
