Jul. 14, 2026 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Milestone Project builds on our club’s longstanding commitment to addressing issues surrounding homelessness through our highly successful Transitional Housing and Homelessness Initiative. Thanks to the combined support of our club, city leaders, and government partners, a dedicated residence was acquired to provide safe, stable housing for young people experiencing homelessness. Join us for an update on this impactful initiative and a special opportunity to meet Mina Koplin and Kevin Rushforth, program leaders from Salt Lake County Youth Services, as they share the latest developments and future plans for Milestone. Led by David Waldman, Chair of the newly formed Milestone Committee, this session will highlight current volunteer opportunities, program support efforts, and meaningful ways for members to get involved. About MilestoneMilestone's mission is to support young adults ages 18–21 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. The program provides safe housing, employment stabilization, life-skills development, and connections to community resources and ongoing support. By helping young people achieve self-sufficiency and long-term stability, Milestone is working toward a future where homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring. Come learn how this important work is changing lives—and how you can be part of it. |

Oct. 26, 2026 - Oct. 30, 2026
One of our most popular social events has been the Dine A Round. This is a great way to become better acquainted with each other and our spouses in a small group setting. We need 6-7 Rotarians willing to be a host home for a dinner during the week of October 26-30---you pick the day and time that is most convenient to your schedule. Just specify how many people you can accommodate at your dinner. This event will be in lieu of our Tuesday luncheon meeting during that week. As such, the host/hostess may request a $40/person reimbursement to defray the costs of the dinner. Menues need not be complicated. The objective is to enjoy each other's company.
Please click below to register as a host/hostess' home. Once host homes are identified, registration will open to the Club members for sign up. Chairing this event: Karmeen Kulharni, 801-574-5731, or Cindi Fullmer, 801-907-1747 |
